When deciding on your cake size or number of tiers you require for a wedding cake it may be useful to know that traditionally fruit cake is served in 1 inch x 1 inch finger slices and sponge cake in 2 inch x 1 inch slices. faqs
These portion sizes are designed to have with coffee after the wedding breakfast. If you plan to have your cake as dessert the portions will need to be larger. Sandra will be happy to advise you on dessert cakes and portion sizes.
